Summary of Foyle Search and Rescue Incidents – 2015

Foyle Search and Rescue was set up in 1993 in response to the number of lives lost to the river Foyle. During 2015 its volunteers gave 11,000+ of hours of unpaid service to the local community. During this period Foyle Search and Rescue were involved in a total of 154 incidents which are down 19

The work that Foyle Search and Rescue do for our town is incredible. I've visited the building and met all the staff. They are inspiring and down to earth people.

Tonight myself and my wife were watching these guys going up and down the river on boat and on foot. Then next thing they are holding on to a female stopping her from jumping into the Foyle in my eyes they saved this lady from certain death my deepest respect to these guys
