Foyle Search and Rescue Service’s Annual Bucket Appeal will take place from Monday 2nd May 2016 to Sunday 15th May 2016, throughout different areas within the City. Year 13 students from St. Joseph’s Boys’ School raise money for Foyle Search and Rescue. As part of their Enrichment Programme Year 13 students took up the challenge to raise over £50 for a nominated charity. They had 5 weeks to complete the Personal Skills Development task. The students decided on ‘Foyle Search and Rescue’.

Foyle Search & Rescue have received confirmation of a grant from the Department for Transport, for flood rescue equipment and training totaling £13,021.54.
